Houston A+ Challenge and Spring Independent School District partner together to bring a professional development workshop series to Middle and High School teachers for the 2015-16 academic year.
Session goals are to deepen teacher pedagogical knowledge, provide opportunities to practice activities, and model instructional strategies to take back to campus. - 6th Grade – Building multiplication and division of positive rational numbers; using the associative, commutative and distributive property; Long Division | Multiplication | Number Sense Routines

- 7th Grade – Using models and strategies to solve real world problems involving percent change; Activity Change in Price Cards | Activity Item Cards | Organizer | Personal Financial Literacy Activities.
- 8th Grade – Understanding the characteristics of proportional and non-proportional linear equations, tables and graphs;
- Algebra I – Determine key features of linear functions in mathematical and real world situations;
